Downloading TracPlus Pro 3
You can download and install TracPlus Pro 3 on any Windows computer from our Downloads page.
Click TracPlus Pro 3.4.10' under the Desktop Applications heading to begin your download.
Once downloaded please click and run the installer.
User Guide
You can find a comprehensive user guide for TracPlus Pro 3 also on this Knowledge Base here. It covers all of the functionality, tools, exporting data and other advanced features.
Web Maps
TracPlus Pro 3 introduces global imagery in partnership with Here Maps. This provides up to date, high-resolution imagery of the entire world, without the need to install local maps on your drive. In addition to your existing maps, you will see six new maps as follows:
- World Terrain
- World Satellite
- World Hybrid
- World Reduced
- World Dark
- World Basic
Web Map Overlays
We have also introduced web map overlays, otherwise known as KML support. This allows you to overlay map information from other service providers, such as weather, bushfires, airspace, runways, etc. and view it as part of your tracking information.
To add a web map overlay, right-click My Layers in the layers window, click add and browse to a local KML file, or enter a URL to a KML file, such as:
This sample KML overlays global precipitation radar data and cloud imagery over your maps. You can turn these layers on and off under Layers | My Layers. Please note that while we have worked hard to support the KML 2.2 standard, not all KML files out there on the Internet are compliant with that standard and may not work as anticipated, or at all. Some KML files can also consume lots of memory and slow TracPlus down. We recommend using only well-formed and good-quality KML files from known and reputable sources.
Installation Support
If you require assistance with installing the software, one of our support team is more than happy to arrange a mutually convenient time for us to do a remote support session with you. This will involve our support staff taking remote control of your computer and showing you the features and how to get the best out of your TracPlus software while talking over the phone. If you would like to do this, please let us know, and we can organise a time.
Firewall Access
If your network or firewall is blocking TracPlus Pro 3 and our services, our support team can provide a list of domain names, IP addresses and ports that your network administrator will need to unblock and whitelist on your network. This list is also available on our Knowledge Base here.
