Your Usercode and Password are used to access all of the TracPlus software and apps. You may need to occasionally update your password, or you may have forgotten what the details are.
Note: Before updating your password you may need to check who else in the organisation uses the same usercode? When you change the password they will also be affected and will not be able to login.
Updating your Password when forgotten or lost
If you have forgotten what your password was and there is no other person in the organisation who may know what it is, you can set a new one by using the 'Forgotten Your Password' function on the logon page to My TracPlus at https://my.tracplus.com/.
When you click on 'Login' for the 'My TracPlus' web page, the login screen opens.
Select the link 'Forgotten Your Password?' below the the 'Login' button.
Enter your username and click 'Submit.' An Update Password email will be sent to the email address that is associated with your usercode.
You will get a pop up message confirming that the email with the link to update your password has been sent
In this email is a link to a web page where you can set the new password. This link will expire after an hour from the time it was sent.
Enter your new password into the 'New Password' and 'Repeat New Password' fields. You can enter a preferred password, which can be up to 30 characters in length.
The 'Password Strength' indicator will show how strong the password is, and therefore how difficult it will be to break. A strong password is best but TracPlus does not require you to use a Password with a set strength.
If the two 'New Password' fields do not match, you will receive the above message after you click on the 'Submit' button. After successfully updating the password My TracPlus will open.
Updating from a Known Password
A password may need to be updated when there have been changes in staff, or for other reasons. You can update the password from within My TracPlus.
Login to My TracPlus with the password to be replaced. Select 'Change Password' from the menu on the left.
Enter the old password and then your desired new password. The 'Password Strength' will indicate how strong the password is and therefore how difficult it will be to break. A strong password is best but this is not used to limit you selection of a password.
You will receive the above message on successfully updating your password.
In addition the TracPlus Support team is also able to update a password for you.
